Content breakdown: songs 1–5 use re-edited TV series footage. (Chapter 11) uses completely original new animation. Five eye-catch animations (Chapters 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) are new chibi-style comedy skits — deformed versions of the main cast in short original sequences between songs. 「バーニング・ラヴ」 appears in a new 獣戦機隊 (voice cast) version distinct from the TV broadcast arrangement. Includes printed insert: original story written by 寺田憲史 Kenji Terada, series script writer.
「ALONE孤独の戦士」 premiered exclusively on this disc and its simultaneous VHS release — at the time of release, 「レコードでは発売されない新曲」 (a new song not available on record). The song was subsequently released on the audio album 「Songs For Dancougar」 in June 1987, approximately seven months later. During that window, the LD/VHS was the only commercial format carrying the track.
Thirteen Chapters
CAV. Six songs, five eye-catch animations between them, one ending, one SPECIAL BONUS. The chapter structure treats the eye-catch as a unit equal to the song — each gets its own stop. EYE CATCH ONE through EYE CATCH FIVE are all new original animation produced for this disc.
Chapter 13 is SPECIAL BONUS: マシンロボ幻のパイロットフィルム. Machine Robo is a different franchise entirely — a Bandai toy robot line with its own animated series that ran 1986–1987. The phantom pilot film listed here is a promotional reel that did not have a public commercial release. It appears at the end of a Dancougar song disc, published by the same distributor (Network Corp.) who handled both properties.
Full back panel — JYUSENKI-TAI cast credits: SHINOBU FUJIWARA = KAZUKI YAO / MASATO SHIKIBU = SHIGERU NAKAHARA / SARA YUUKI = YURIKO YAMAMOTO. SPECIAL THANKS TO TAKESHI IKE. CHAPTER listing: 13 stops (songs, EYE CATCH ONE–FIVE, ENDING, SPECIAL BONUS). 70LS84002, ¥7,000. CAV STEREO NTSC/COLOR.

The obi describes 「ALONE孤独の戦士」 as 「レコードでは発売されない新曲」 — a new song not available on record at the time of release. The disc and its simultaneous VHS release were the only commercial formats carrying this track from November 1986 until the 「Songs For Dancougar」 audio album in June 1987, seven months later.
(Takeshi Ike), the songwriter credited across most of the Dancougar soundtrack. いけたけし performs alongside the voice cast (獣戦機隊 with いけたけし) and contributed the song's video — the only clip on the disc where new animation was commissioned specifically for a single track. The other five songs use re-edited footage from the TV series.
ORIGINAL STORY WRITTEN BY KENJI TERADA — printed insert. Dense prose fiction divided into CUT(1) through CUT(5). Meta-fictional story set in the Dancougar production environment: industry references (FOCUS, ケーブルTVネットワーク, TV局), Dancougar characters appearing in realistic settings, comedy built around the act of making an anime song video disc. Series script writer 寺田憲史 writing about the series through the frame of producing this specific LaserDisc.
The insert story is not a tie-in manga or a production document — it is a prose comedy by the person who wrote the TV series scripts. CUT(1) through CUT(5) follow a narrator moving through the Dancougar production world, referencing real industry structures (cable TV networks, animation studios, the mechanics of making a music video) while deploying the series' characters in civilian contexts.
Song discs in this format rarely included original written fiction. The insert exists on this disc and nowhere else.
Back cover — full song lyrics printed for all six songs in three-column layout. SONGS ARE tracklist at bottom right with per-track singer credits. COLOR/STEREO/30 MIN. NTSC/COLOR. 70LS84002.
The CAV chapter structure treats every segment as an equal unit. EYE CATCH ONE through EYE CATCH FIVE each have their own stops — alongside the six songs, the ending, and the SPECIAL BONUS. The chibi comedy skits are indexed the same way as the songs. The disc does not distinguish between music and interstitial.
Songs 1–5 use re-edited TV series footage. Chapter 11 — 「ALONE孤独の戦士」 — uses animation produced for this disc. From November 1986 to June 1987, the only commercial format carrying this track was the LD and its simultaneous VHS release. After June 1987, it was on record.
Chapter 13 is the Machine Robo phantom pilot film. Network Corp.'s Frontier Division held distribution rights for both franchises. The pilot film was inserted at the end of a Dancougar song disc — cataloged, chaptered, preserved in CAV alongside five chibi skits, six songs, and a prose story by the series script writer.
